Ekka 2023

Ekka 2023 was a great outing for the Midas Stud -- with the problems encountered this year I am indebted to Brian Kaddatz fortaking control and showing my cattle at the Gympie show and then The Ekka. 

The Gympie Show the cattle were shown in the European Class -- Midas had good success with Midas Titan T5 coming third in a strong class -- Midas Zena S041 returned the Reserve Champion heifer and Midas Emm R031 returned Reserve Champion Cow.

The Ekka where we competed in our Gelbvieh breed.

Midas T036 -- won his calf class and the was awarded Reserve Junior Bull.

Midas Titan T5 -- 2nd in his strong class

Midas Zena S041 -- won her 20-30mth class and then awarded the Reserve Senior Champion Cow or Heifer

Midas Yeletta S024 -- 2nd to Midas Zena S041

Midas Emm R031 -- won her class over 30 mth cow or heifer and then Senior Champion Cow and then Grand Champion Cow.

Midas then came second in both the Pair of Bulls and the Breeders Group.
