EKKA 2013

The Ekka has come around again and Midas Gelbvieh was at the forefront again winning both female sections with Midas Windlass H009 taking first place in the 12-16 months class. Midas Windlass G005 added the 20-42 months class to her long list of wins and then was awarded the Champion Gelbvieh cow with Midas Windlass J003 at foot. This gives her the titles of Calf Champion Beef 2012 and then Junior heifer at the Ekka 2012 and now the Senior and Grand Champion Cow Ekka 2013. Midas Humvie H025 was second in his class to the ultimate Grand Champion bull Weetalabah Hulk and Midas G045 stood 3rd in his class which was a strong class.
